Here is the newest example of God taking care of our family! We had a list of items that our family needed from our latest vehicle. We prayed over the list & God provided all of the things & a few extras too :) He loves to show off!

Romance Conference

Tommy & Lagea had a wonderful weekend attending the Long Beach Alliance Church Romance Conference. This was a great chance to reconnect after Tommy's recent TDY. We are so thankful for what God keeps doing in our lives!

Yea!!

Tommy is finally home after 6 weeks in New Mexico!! We are so thankful for his return! We now need to pray that Lagea's brothers return home from Africa safely.

Governor Appoints Oregon State Police Superintendent
01/25/2007

Governor Ted Kulongoski today announced the appointment of Acting Superintendent Tim McLain to the position of Superintendent of the Oregon State Police, pending State Senate confirmation. "Deputy Superintendent McLain answered the call in December to serve as Acting Superintendent, and he has carried out that duty with integrity, honor and dedication to the safety of our communities," said Governor Kulongoski. "His knowledge of our state and his nearly 28 years serving Oregonians as a member of the Oregon State Police make him exceptionally qualified to lead Oregon's top state-wide law enforcement agency through this upcoming period of growth and expansion."

Senior Citizen Project

Lagea's parents started working on our backyard on Thursday. They finished Saturday night. Doesn't it look great?!? We will be planting a garden this spring behind the fence.

Furniture!

Some of you were aware of our lack of furniture these past few months. This past Tuesday at women's Bible study, Lagea asked for prayer about this dilemma. On Wednesday at 1pm this beautiful couch & armchair was delivered to our home! Not only did God answer that prayer fast but with alot of style :)

Our second child has earned the rank of first chair in clarinet. She was also got a role in her school’s upcoming play. We are all very proud of her!!!

Horseback Riding

Three of our kids were able to go horseback riding for their cousin's birthday. How cool!! They had loads of fun!

We have been blessed to have visitors come to our new home in L.A.

1. Nana (sitting with our third) & Poppa (not pictured) Corley during their trip with us to Knott's Berry Farm in November.

Heather (Lagea's cousin) drove up from San Diego for the first weekend in December.

The Coleman Family (Lagea's sister) arrived the first week of January 2007.

Sophie is a 10 month old mutt at the pound. Hopefully she will still be available tomorrow. If so I will get this adorable pooch :)
